Meiyang and Deepali set to co-host ‘Indian Idol’ auditions

They were teased as being the love pair on ‘Indian Idol 3’ and now, Meiyang and Deepali are back on the show, but this time they will be co-hosting the auditions across India.

Mini Mathur, who has been the host for the show for the longest time, is expecting her second baby soon and may not be a part of the show this season.

Hussein, who is Mini’s co-host, is also busy with his TV assignments; although he has agreed to host the show, he has excused himself from the auditions. (more…)

Vidya Balan

She is the lucky mascot of Bollywood and now, after pairing with Saif, John, Shiney and Akshay it’s her turn to rub some luck on Abhishek Bachchan.

Balki, who made his directorial debut with ‘Cheeni Kum’, has signed Vidya Balan for his next ‘Pa’ along with Abhishek in the lead, and Big B is expected to play a character role in the movie as well. Tabu was a strong contender for the role, but the director decided to opt for Vidya Balan instead. (more…)

Kangana in ‘Raaz 2′

Bollywood actresses are busy going on diets and are hitting the gym after seeing Kareena’s new hot avatar in ‘Tashan’, and the latest one to follow the fad is Kangana.

Mira Nair will soon direct a biopic on  famed aviator Amelia Earhart which will star Richard Gere  and Hilary Swank in the lead. Ron Bass has penned the screenplay and production is slated to begin later this month in Toronto, Nova Scotia and South Africa, reports Variety.
